The Grawemeyer Award in Religion is granted by both the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and the University of Louisville to “those who have presented ideas with the potential to bring about change in the world through religion.” Past winners include Willie James Jennings, Marilynne Robinson, James Cone, Kelly Brown Douglas, Jonathan Sacks, Jürgen Moltmann, John Hick, E. P. Sanders, and Leila Ahmed.
